Cheddar Cheese Butter Cake

It's been queit some times I didn't bake for my family. Last night I decided to make something for them. Something that they would love with a bit more calories as my husband and kids are in the process of recovery from common cold.

This recipe came out just in the last minute when I was confused deciding which recipe that I should use. I wanted to make marble cake from my mom's old recipe but I wanted to add more milk in it so I did a little experiment with a believe that the cake would be turned out okay as the base recipe taken from butter cake recipe.

Yes, the cake turned out just what I expected. It's very moist and every one loves it! My husband had 3 slices for breakfast this morning and kids already had more than 2 slices each last night when the cake was fresh from the oven.

2. Sift together flour, maizena dan baking powder. Set aside.

3. In bowl of electric mixer, cream the butter, margarine, sugar and vanilla powder until smooth. Add egg yolks, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
